The Big Horn Basin's alkaline clay-loam soils, gravel benches and deep winter frost behave in specific ways, and a crew that understands them makes better decisions before the first bucket moves. It carries through drainage , the single most common reason dirt work fails out here is water that had nowhere to go. And it finishes with compaction and clean-up: ground that's placed and packed to hold, and a site left ready for the next phase instead of buried in spoil and debris.
